Who provides the service

TaxEasy LLC provides the professional service. TaxEasy is the portal used to communicate, pay approved catalog items, exchange documents, and download deliverables. An EasyTax CPA prepares and files returns outside TaxEasy. Exact contracting and merchant entity names wait on counsel.

What you purchase

Tax packages and bookkeeping packages are separate. A tax package includes human preparation and the portal workflow described on For individuals and For business. It does not include bookkeeping, payroll, entity formation, or a guarantee of a refund or of tax-authority acceptance. Bookkeeping does not include preparing or filing a return.

Eligibility and engagement

Self-registration does not grant an engagement. EasyTax links an engagement after provider acceptance. You accept service terms in the portal before payment. Unsupported or uncertain cases are routed through Ask a question—not an automatic cart.

Payment, cancellation, and refunds

Payment uses the approved catalog and secure checkout. Exact cancellation, refund, dispute, and receipt rules appear here after D-004 and counsel review.

Your responsibilities

• Provide complete and accurate information requested for the engagement
• Upload only documents that belong to the linked engagement
• Review draft materials and signature requests carefully before you acknowledge or sign
• Keep your sign-in credentials private

What TaxEasy does not do

TaxEasy does not calculate tax inside the portal, interview you like DIY tax software, sign returns on your behalf, or transmit returns to a tax authority. Portal status is not official filing confirmation unless EasyTax records verified filing evidence.

Limitation of outcome claims

No refund amount, tax savings, audit protection, or acceptance outcome is promised on this draft. Timing language waits on capacity decisions (D-005).
